Wednesday: W Club Renewal 2016...

So its that time of year! The W Club is once again open for registration. I have to think about the convention since its in Chicago this year. I'm just not sure about it, but at the same time you cant really dilly daily with it since it sells out so quickly.

I wasnt really sure about Edge Vanessa. I had been really not feeling it with the type 3 vanessa. There's always something off about her. I think its her forehead plus her lips are not as parted as the 01, which I really love out of the 3 (again...falling for kissy lips). So once I got her she just kinda got put away until I just started trying to throw an outfit together for her. (I have a bad habit in not dressing my dolls). Theres just something about her that I have come to love. I think a lot that helps is her hairstyle does hide that forehead so I dont see it. Plus I love the dark eyes/pale lips combo and she just finally started to come into her own. Im still working on her personality but it will get there.

W Club: Jem & Color Infusion...

I passed on all of these. I dont really collect the Jem dolls. I see that Lindsey is using the new face scupt. The other 3 were a miss with me. I didnt feel like I had to have any of them. Zara reminds me of Lana from archer.

Knitty & Purrrl: February Pattern...

I am currently finishing up the pattern I was doing for February. I have them all finished I just have to add a button to the collar and hide all the strings :3 I decided to make halter tops this month so look for them soon in my etsy shop. It might be tonight/tomorrow. Ill post about it.

I made two sizes. The larger ones fit the FR Tall body, the FR2 body, the new Nuface body. The smaller ones fit the Azones, Momokos and Unoas.  I just have to check about the Poppy, Old Nuface and Dynamite bodys.

WClub: ITBE lingerie dolls...

The ITBE Line is the first to be announced. They went ahead with a lingerie theme this time. These are more expensive then last years, Im not sure why...maybe price increases. They also have the older body, which doesnt really bother me. There was 6 girls this time. This is a lottery, so I entered for Audacious, Dark Side, and My Desire. Apparently Audacious has a new sculp named Finley Prince. I do like also the twist with the skin tones as well, just nice to see some more characters not in their traditional coloring. Heres keeping my fingers crossed. I think at the most I hope to get the new girl.

Back in the Swing of it...

Well I guess taking a break was longer then I planned. I havent been having the brusing issue anymore with my thumb, but then Tabby moved and with work and that I just started to realize I hadnt made anything for June. I was going to make just 5 little bathing sets, but then it turned into ten XD.

So thats the new pattern that Ill have listed at the end of this month, a couple will fit the slimmer dolls like Azone and Unoa, the other size fits all of the FR's & barbie.

Knitty & Purrl: February Works

So after making a better plan about how i was going to be doing things, ended up going out the window as its that time of year again...and I got slammed with work. We have a open house in two weeks, went through a buyout, so I wasnt even sure if I was going to have a job. We now work for Phillips, and are going to be one of the hubs basically because they like what we do and how we run. So well see what happens as the year goes. I did make it clear to my boss that if I work overtime I was bringing in my Mina. Shes such a good girl and keeps me company when I needed it most. :3

So with all that out of the way (now its the little stuff of making copies/packets/mailing stuff and the usual routine I have as well) I will say that I was a good kitty and even though it was delayed, I got done a good amount of sweaters for this month.

February's Pattern: Raglan Turtleneck Sweaters

A big thank you as well to Heather for taking all these pictures for me as well as promoting them on both her blogs. I really appreciate it. They are The Traveling Twig and The Majokko Shop. Heres a couple pictures of what I listed and we tried these all one the different body types. Tabby actually loved the pink one so much that she stole it for her Cora (Obitsu) and I had to make another :3 but I dont mind.

So I have been looking at a few of these girls for a while, but I passed on ordering any of them because I'd rather them have rooted hair instead of molded. Sunayuki and Jun seem to be my favorites by OE. I did like their body so much though I ordered one when I saw I could.

Upon my usual looking around on AmiAmi & HLJ I came across these lovelys. After some thingking about it I decided to preorder them as I like how I feel that the heads look like Dollfie Dreams almost .How awesome are these. I love the fact they are Playstation vs Xbox. Im excited to bring them home, but they wont be released till around April boo.

This weeks arrivals...

Heres some new arrivals. I loved my little 1/12 Koron I got from Heather, so I ended up preordering the Lien and Chiika. So these girls arrived :3 I also have a Aika coming as well so now I will have one of each.

FR wise arrivals are my Dynamite Girls Halloween ones. I think for the Dani I like her blue lipstick and the blue blush but Im going to redo it so that it blends in a little more and makes her look more dead XD Im going to also paint Roluths (Damons) horns to more natural looking for his dragon self.

WIP: Knitting & more...

Just been really busy with working on things. 

Rerooting my Raili (shes gonna get her eyes redone colorwise) - I got most of it done but I had to order some more hair. She needs a bang line/part line still and I ran out. So far I am really loving this color on her. Next on my list is my poor Future Bound Luchia.

I am also in love with my little Koron & all the 1/12 scale girls. I have Chiika & Lein coming. I just need Aika. I think its because in these little guys they put actual ball joints. Even in the updated larger neemo bodies they didnt do this. I would have loved them a million times over if they had.

 Heres a little sweater I knitted for her.

Pickup: Fairy Tale High...

I happened to see these girls and grew rather interested in them. They are called Fairy Tale High (made by S K Victory in NY i believe) and in a way sort of mimic the Ever After girls. I did watch the little show they had on their website and its really not appealing to me. The animation/voices are all off. So I decided I wasnt going to get them all. I just wanted to focus on one.

From left to right its Tinker Bell, Alice, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Bell.

I decided that of all the eight of them I really loved Rapunzel out of the bunch, so that was the one I was going to get. I kinda had been keeping a eye out at target/TRU for a bit and just stumbled on them the other day.

    

I really like the packaging though not so much the back, maybe I just feel its reall busy looking, like I dont like there being the pictures of the show thrown on it. It just takes up too much room. I did get her out of the package I just need to take some more pictures but overall shes cute and I like her slender body except her arms are not made correctly to where she can bend them to touch her face or even a 90 degree angle is hard to do and the cant bend their knees too far either. I wish they had given her bangs like her drawing....actually a lot of the dolls done look like their illustrations hair-wise.Her hair is super covered with gel to hold her curls so Im not sure about how it will look once I wash it. Im going to have Tabby look at her and see what kind of hair they used for her.

Also she super reminds me of this girl ... >_> I mean....shes got blond hair no bangs, and wearing purple. Yeah thats really close ahahah.

I was looking over all the girls while trying to find Rapunzel, and I didnt see her, so I was kinda still wanting to get one to look at and I did like Cinderella next out of the bunch, but then I did find Rapunzel and was trying to decide who to get but just ended up getting both when I saw she has clear heels (which I want to try on my color infusion girl).

So I got her too. Again you can see how her hair doesnt even match her drawing (which I would have liked a lot more) But again the rest of her looks rather nice. I like her clothing set. Her hair wasnt really gel/glued at all and kinda holds that cute curl to the back.

Overall I like these girls alot. I just wished their bodies actually were a lot more pose-able. Some of the girls have kinda cheepy looking outfits, while others dont look too bad. I might just keep my eye out for clothing for them but thats about it. I really do like their shoes too, I just need to see who else they fit.

My one other thing is that theres just something way off with the facepaint on the both of them from their promo pictures. Im going to take some pictures to compare but in the long run Im just going to end up repainting them to make them more how I want them to look. Probably also throwing in some bangs for Rapunzel.

New Arrival: Irresistable Dania...

When the last webinar rolled out I didnt really see anything that really grabbed me but I picked India Poppy and Dania. I had told myself I wasnt going to bring home any more tan dolls, but when I saw these two I changed my mind. I do see in her the Optic Clash Dania in her along with her hair color being similar. I really do love everything about her. I know her top is a pop collar but it lays down just fine.

I might end up doing the same as I did to my Love the One Kyori where I gave her liner underneath. Ill think about it or play with a picture of her. Still have to think about who shes going to be.

I actually got my project for work done on time and its off to the printers as well as our mailer, its a little weird this year not being overwhelmed but at the same time I am really greatful for it. Ive been working on making some turtleneck but Im going to have to work in a snap in the back. Its just way to hard trying to get them on and once I get them on Im not sure about how Im going to get them off hahaha. So Ill work on that.

WIP: Knitting...

Well its that time of year again where I have the Fall Blitz catalog to create, so I am going to be swamped again for a couple weeks ;___; first they were going to do it, then decided not to and gave me a flyer plan, then came back to it, and was going to make a catalog for those at the Backer show, and then turned around and decided to make the Fall Blitz again >_> seriously...

Anyways I seem to be in a knitting mood right now. I just have been working on a few things, trying some new patterns and such.

Two new patterns - I need to block these

Chunky Braid Scarf. This fits a FR & FR16. Its different then the Rapunzel pattern where you actually braid it, this is a cable pattern to mimic a braid. I like the look of them both.

Also here is a few pictures. I added these to my etsy as I am trying to take better pictures of the things I make for it, but I know I need to get some better bulbs for my lights.
