Tuesday: adding to my shop

A couple days ago I had someone ask me if I could sell my patterns. I was really unsure about this because I really have never written a pattern in my life and I currently only have about 3 people that knit that I could have proof what I was writing.  Plus Im not very good at explaining without showing. So I decided well....lets give it a try. It took some time and a lot of edits (all helpful :3) but now I have added a pattern section to my etsy. For now since I didn't want to be overwhelmed Im just sticking with my one pattern, the turtleneck. If this turns out useful and such then I will look into writing my other patterns as I go.

Vote: Knitting..

So as business cat states...voting is serious business! Im going to start having polls that will run for about a week I believe. Maybe two depending on what kind of feedback I am getting. I have some people telling me they think I dont charge enough for my work. I have been trying to get a feeling with asking what would you be willing to pay or what do you feel with the quality of the work and the materials and of course the time. Plus my sales have been like....one every couple months.

A new year - some reflection

Happy new year! I cant believe its 2016 already. I know I have kinda of ended up slipping some these past few months. I was busy making holiday sweaters that were in my shop and then with the holidays I was trying to think about how I wanted to focus this blog more and how I want to make it work better with what my interests.

I keep wondering if my blog is just all over the place, or should i just do better on scheduling myself which I know I have talked to Heather about a lot. My main focuses are (in I feel this order) Dollfie Dreams, Fashion Royalty (and 1/6ths), knitting and painting. I also started collecting some figures and I do have my artwork I work on as well. But I guess again that is the question. Do I just break things down into the week (as well as separate tabs above) to help show off those hobbies or make different blogs. Do you like where its more just pictures or do you want me to do more of a review or opinion. Do people want to know Integrity releases as I get them or are there enough blogs like that and I just dont need to add one more thing. I know I am not the best about making things clear sometimes but I can just try to do my best.

Im also trying to think about some kind of easier name to call this blog. Its always been work in progress which I guess does suit it in a way but I just am not sure if I want to keep it like that. Ill try to do some voting and just see if people are interested in my blog or just not worry so much about it. Im just trying to think about what would make this grow better since its a new year.

Etsy: Dollfie Dream Sweaters

I have finished up the 5 sweaters I wanted to make this month. I dont know bust wise what size they will fit thought as I only have a small bust right now. They do have room in them though (ill measure it to see). These are long sleeve sweaters with a patter on the front and they come in lavender, blue, white, yellow and pink. Im still thinking some on a price. Ill be adding them to my etsy shop maybe tonight/tomorrow.

Knitty & Purrrl: February Pattern...

I am currently finishing up the pattern I was doing for February. I have them all finished I just have to add a button to the collar and hide all the strings :3 I decided to make halter tops this month so look for them soon in my etsy shop. It might be tonight/tomorrow. Ill post about it.

I made two sizes. The larger ones fit the FR Tall body, the FR2 body, the new Nuface body. The smaller ones fit the Azones, Momokos and Unoas.  I just have to check about the Poppy, Old Nuface and Dynamite bodys.

A long update..

I wanted to give a couple updates, and sort of talk about things I dont really talk much about on here. First off I will be adding things to my esty shop this week. I just need to finish taking pictures, but I have been a busy bee! I will have the bathing suit sets, as well as skirts. I also have a couple for SD sizes as well.

Second I have also been painting now that I have these done. I finished up Tabby's DD girl Kaede. I am finishing up a unoss, and a zero, and a few more unoas. I also did a Obitsu Gretel head to add to ebay, just to try and get some funds, and get things out of the house.

Speaking of cleaning out. I have been purging a lot. Just letting go of things Im never going to use or dont have a use for. I have a few more things to add. I just kinda want this stuff to clear out before I add anymore. I just dont want to confuse myself too much.

There are other things to update, but for now this is a good start. I have been neglecting this blog and I hope to get back into the swing of things. I know I dont have many followers, but I just wanted to say to those that I do have I appreciate it. I am dealing with depression, and I am seeing a councilor and have been trying medication. One made me a manic episode while I was at work. It was pretty terrible for me. I kept bothering everyone, wanted to cry, couldnt stay in my cube, ended up eatting my food like a five year old. Got home and was freaking out at how cute my cats are. >_> It was more hyper then I had ever wanted to feel. So they changed my meds again to something else. I ended up having side effects of a fever, flu like symtoms, my joints ached so badly, and all I wanted to do was sleep. Thats just been the problem really is they just make me want to sleep. This other medication seemed to help motivate me....but gave me insomnia. So I guess its back to the drawing board. I just thought I would kinda give a idea as to what Im dealing with. I dont overly like to talk about it on here. I like to try and just focus on my dolls, knitting, drawing and my baby kitties.

Back in the Swing of it...

Well I guess taking a break was longer then I planned. I havent been having the brusing issue anymore with my thumb, but then Tabby moved and with work and that I just started to realize I hadnt made anything for June. I was going to make just 5 little bathing sets, but then it turned into ten XD.

So thats the new pattern that Ill have listed at the end of this month, a couple will fit the slimmer dolls like Azone and Unoa, the other size fits all of the FR's & barbie.

Weekly update: not much going on..

This week has been a little slow. I did a lot of purging things that I just never use or have just decided that I dont want anymore, so I was cleaning out my house basically. So thats all set and taken care of.

Now that its going back into May, Ill be going back into my knitting again. So look forward to this months pattern that I come up with.

They have the two new Dollfie dreams for the next dolpa I believe? I dont know its another volks event. They released Rin and Ranko. I had preordered Rankos figma because I just loved her design so much, and now to see it in a big doll makes me really happy. So once they have a lottery Ill be entering for her. She does remind me a lot of Melty, so it will help that I missed out on that girl. They both come with their stage outfit. Their regular dress outfits will be seperate.

Mondays Update: Taking a break..

Oh Michigan, how I love your strange freakish weather....we had some nice warm days and then all of a sudden lets have snow again! ~grumble~

With a lot of stuff going on this month like Easter and just other things I have coming up this month, Im going to just be taking a break from knitting this month. I somehow also hurt my thumb. It swelled up and was painful, and then it turned black and blue so I thought I busted a blood vessel or something. Its still bothering me a little, so if anything Ill go see someone about it, but thats sort of why Im also taking a break and figuring out what this problem is before I pick up with another pattern.

May I think will be a skirt pattern. Ive been wanting to make one for a while. So look forward to seeing what I will come up with.

March's Collection - Cable Wrap

I had wanted to get these up a little sooner, but here we go. I have listed these on my etsy shop. I have 2 for Dollfie Dreams, I just need to take some pictures outside with them. I really liked how these came out. Theres 4 of them that are made to fit the slimmer dolls. I was going to sew the back up, but I decided that I liked them how they were. You just slide it on, twist and slip over the head.

Weekly Craft Update: Knitty & Purrrl

Ive been busy with preparing for the upcoming open house this next Monday. So I have been a busy bee at making as many wraps as I can before the months over. Im making about 3/4 that are going to fit the slimmer dolls; Azone/Unoa Light/Obitsu. 7 or so for the regular FRish size, and Im going to try and work in at least 2 for the Dollfie Dreams. So Im hoping to have maybe 15 total done. I also feel like Im really limited in colors because i have to use a thinner yarn, but then I raided my gramas horde....came home with 3 bags XD

So look forward to seeing new stuff at my shop the end of this month/beginning of April.
