Etsy: Dollfie Dream Sweaters

I have finished up the 5 sweaters I wanted to make this month. I dont know bust wise what size they will fit thought as I only have a small bust right now. They do have room in them though (ill measure it to see). These are long sleeve sweaters with a patter on the front and they come in lavender, blue, white, yellow and pink. Im still thinking some on a price. Ill be adding them to my etsy shop maybe tonight/tomorrow.

Knitty & Purrrl: February Pattern...

I am currently finishing up the pattern I was doing for February. I have them all finished I just have to add a button to the collar and hide all the strings :3 I decided to make halter tops this month so look for them soon in my etsy shop. It might be tonight/tomorrow. Ill post about it.

I made two sizes. The larger ones fit the FR Tall body, the FR2 body, the new Nuface body. The smaller ones fit the Azones, Momokos and Unoas.  I just have to check about the Poppy, Old Nuface and Dynamite bodys.

A refreshing look...

I had gotten myself a Magical Lucy because I fell in love with her outfit. Everthing about it was so cute. Theres little heart shapes on the back of her heels and her stockings and necktie were lined with white so they wouldnt stain. This whole outfit was just perfect.

But there was just my issue with her face. I changed her default eyes but it didnt seem to help. I changed her wig, but I think I just didnt like her non existant mouth.

So I talked to Heather some about her, and how I was falling out of love with her and maybe wanting to sell her. In the end I decided that I would repaint her to see how it made me feel about her.

In the long run, this has made me once again fall in love with my Lucy. I just need to find her a wig. I do like the short hair style on her so now I just need to pick a color and go from there. I love my Lucy now more then anything :3

An unexpected surprise...

Heather posted her friday Azone updates. I asked her the other night if anything interesting was coming up to which she said not really, and we talked about the delays. I have an Asuna on a preorder and she just keeps getting pushed back...but when I was looking at her page I saw this.

1/3 Revolutionary Girl Utena / heavenly Utena

I rememeber watching Utena way back in the day when I was first getting into Anime, and we watched it at Animosity (its a anime club at one of the colleges). I also have a lot of the artbooks, movie books, music & anime. I also kept seeing this girl, but I never heard anything about her release until today. I went ahead and just preordered her. Shell be in around December and Im going to be so happy. I love her face and how well and unique her eyes/face are and incorporating the style in this doll. Shes perfect and I cant wait to have her.

New Arrivals: Kyori/Poppy/Azone...

Heres just a few things I didnt get a chance to get pictures of until now. I have a couple of the Wclub exclusives ordered, but they wont be in I think for a while/later in the year.

Irresistable in India Poppy Parker - This girl has the Bergdorf screening which is one of the Poppy's that I had come to love so much, but shes super out of my price range/what Im willing to pay really. So once I heard this I went ahead and got her. I really do love her screening & her hair style. Im not sure about the gold dress, I feel like she needs a better material then that satin. Its just too much screaming Barbie I guess to me. I do love her little gold shoes.

Love the One Kyori upgrade doll - This one really reminds me of the poesie Agnes/Vanessa brides. I think I am going to give her liner on her bottom lash area because I saw someone mock it up with the promo pictures and I really liked the look of it. Possibly might change her lip color to a more pale hue. Im also not sure if I'm going to swap her body as well.

Lethe - London Calling Dani - All together this girls clothing just doesnt feel like it works at all together, but once we took it off her, it looked better as in parts/mix & matched with other clothing. I ended up switching her body with my Tropiclean Erin (who has now become Neva) because I wanted her to have a shorter body to go with her friend Lyric. Im probably going to end up repainting Dani because this green is just overkill for who it needs to be, but her hair is perfect.

I bought the two Black Raven 50cm clothing cat maid outfit things. I havent gotten the white one just yet, but its on its way. The only thing is that the undershirt is so tight on the arms I had to remove the DDS's lower arms to wiggle it on. The stockings also will not go on the DD because of her feet being too big. I am thinking about getting an Obitsu 50cm body because I have been wanting one of these for months now and the DD heads dont look bad on it, and I can switch up my bodys a little :3

Dollfie Dream: DDS Mariko...

So I have to say a big huge thanks to Volks. Heather is no help every whenever she brings over dolls that I kinda passed up on XD especially the Mariko. No matter what wig we put her in she looked so adorable. I even showed my grama this girl the other day and she really liked her to.

So now its its the Dollfie Dream 2013 Festival event thing going on July 8th - July 15th. This is a lottery as usual from Volks, so winners wont really be announced until the end of the month. I just really hope I can end up winning one of these girls. Its really funny because I had said screw it and was going to buy the white skin verion, when Heather showed me that they re-released her.

They this time around have released her in the semi-white skin. I am not a big fan of white skin. I have always been afraid of staining the dolls, but I feel Im less self conscious about it with the normal skin ones, or most of the dolls I love have been the normal skin. My magical lucy arrived, and she is the Semi-white skin so I can see how it compares to the other two skintones and I really like it alot. So Im happy this girl will be coming in it. I think they are going to be releasing some optional parts for the semi-white skin bodies. I couldnt really tell I just caught a glimps and kinda am guessing on it.

Heres all her extras she comes with. I really have no interest in the schoolgirl outfit. Im probably going to keep her bag and wig. The best line of her description: M bust - I was much smaller and more delicate then I am now.

Update: Ebay is the devil...

Here a couple things I got this month.

I got this outfit on ebay. It was 58 bucks and was seriously worth it. Its all black velvet and well put together. The top is once piece with little decorate snaps on the back that make straps. One of them I cant seem to resnap, so Im going to see if some of the velvets in the way. The skirt is two pieces. The white ruffle and the overskirt you tie on. The white ruffle on the sleave runs about halfway up the arm. I ended up putting a tshirt on under it to just protect if the top stains at all. Ill eventually get her a body skin, but temperately it will work. (poor Sabers eye fell in XD but i fixed it)

The wig is from Licht. I thought it was going to have a little more blue in it, and both Heather and I got this wig style. I feel that for my girl I should have/from now on need to go with a 9-10 for Saber. I feel it falls more flat at her scalp. So there was a bunch of wigs I kept seeing that I like. I have really come to love gradient wigs >_> I bought this...but right now no one I have looks good in it :/

Theres also some wigs I found on Crobidoll that I might just break down and get sometime. I really like this blue mix. I might also ask some wig makers if they can make that super light/sky blue color that Saber looks good in :/

I love these shoes so much. I love the color and the clear platform soles. The strap hooks under the buckle, so theres no having to undo and redo them really, just unhook them. They are fantastic quality and not really pricy. The only thing was that they are listed for a DD, and they dont fit. The DD can wear them, but the shoe is too long to fit the foot, so Xerxes will probably end up wearing them.
